Living with cystic fibrosis is challenge enough. Prejudice and discrimination - the products of ignorance - lead to isolation, hurt, and unnecessary pain.

Children with cystic fibrosis are frequently shunned by classmates and family members who mistakenly fear the disease is contagious.

The Child Life Society produces compelling curricula, quarterly newsletters, brochures and workshops, written for children and adults, designed to dispel that stigma.
