Lung Transplant Funding

While the cost of a lung transplant is usually covered by medical insurance, the cost of maintaining family stability is not.

Between traveling to different cities, the exhausting pace of medical appointments, and living with the dread of organ rejection, the process takes a dreadful toll on families.

But compounding the emotional stress of the lung-transplant process is the inevitable loss of earnings. Personal bankruptcy, loss of a job and home, and the depletion of personal savings often cause divorce and irreparable harm to families.
