Medication Equipment

The exorbitant cost of cystic fibrosis-related medication is generally covered by health insurance.

For a child with cystic fibrosis, the gift of

drawing a breath comes at a great cost. ”

But if a family exceeds their coverage, or if monthly co-payments for several children with cystic fibrosis becomes too much to bear, Child Life Society can help.

From unaffordable drug therapies to the life-saving ABI Vest Airway Clearance System – which costs over $20,000 and not always covered by the health insurance – Child Life Society is there to raise money and make sure children with CF have the medical care then need to survive.

Other, essential, though less expensive, medical equipment such as nebulizers and oxygen tanks can also take a toll on a family’s finances. Child Life Society makes sure everything a family needs for their CF child or children is available and affordable.

The Child Life Society relies on your support
to help Jewish children with cystic fibrosis.
